The Windsor Star has posted an article on the walk-in clinic operated by Family Services Windsor-Essex, and the positive impact it has on the community. It highlights the type of work done by the organization, and the extraordinary impact it has had on individuals who seek the services it provides.
We would like to point out one small error, in order to point our prospective clients in the right direction (or, rather, the right times to receive service), since the article gets our Leamington hours wrong. Rather than being held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month, they are held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month instead.
Find a link to our complete hours here.
The Windsor Star has reported on a program to help hoarders. Find a video below, of statements made by our own Barb Iacono, manager of the Community Programs for Family Services Windsor-Essex, regarding the multi-agency program.
The Windsor Star has profiled Amanda Best, a young woman who accessed services at Family Services Windsor-Essex and is a local success story. Our Executive Director, Joyce Zuk talks about Amanda's story at the United Way Kick-Off event. You can watch the video here:
